Anthony Elujoba is a Professor of Pharmacognosy from the prestigious Faculty of Pharmacy of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Asides being a renowned Professor of Ile-Ife origin, Professor Elujoba is a member of the Royal Society of UK Research Fellow looking into Nigerian Medicinal plants, a Public Analyst (FDA) and a recipient of numerous professional awards.
He has served as the Head of Department of Pharmacognosy, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, Chairman Committee of Deans, Chairman Faculty Post Graduate Committee/ Board of Studies, Research and Selection Committee, member Faculty Review Panel, Senate Representative on OAU Teaching Hospital Management Board, Member Management Board of Natural History Museum and Post Graduate Board and Dean’s Representative, Faculty of Technology.
Prof Anthony Elujoba Prof. Elujoba is an external examiner at numerous university examinations while his involvement in research into medicinal plants has brought him into close association with persons living with HIV/AIDS who fondly refer to him as the ‘Village Chemist’. He is also a strong advocate of the incorporation of medicinal herbal therapies into the national health care system. He is also the President of the African AIDS Research Network, Nigerian Chapter and a Member, Board of Trustees of the Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN).
He is Patron of the Postgraduate Students Association a position reserved for Vice Chancellor of the Obafemi Awolowo University.
Professor Yisa Kehinde Yusuf is a Professor of English Language in the Department of English, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He obtained a B.A. in 1980, an M.A. degree in English as a Second Language, from the same University, in 1985 and a PhD degree in English Language from the University of Lagos in 1996. He was a Fulbright Scholar from 1990 to 1991 and a Smithsonian Institution Fellow in Washington, DC in 1991. He has been a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and the University of Botswana, Gaborone, Botswana. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, and at Fountain University, Osogbo (FUO) where he has been the Dean of the proposed College of Arts.
Olusegun Ogunba, a Professor of Estate Management at the Obafemi Awolowo University has an exciting career centered on the teaching and external examination of undergraduate and postgraduate valuation programmes in several Nigerian Universities. His M.Sc. thesis was the pioneer research on Valuation accuracy in Nigeria. Likewise, his PhD thesis on applied valuation (development valuation risk) was adjudged by the OAU Postgraduate College as the best in its year and was submitted for the NUPTAS award. Professionally, he is an associate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and a registered member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON).
Professor Ogunba is happily married to Dr. Bukola Ogunba a senior Lecturer at the Department of Nutrition in the same University and they are blessed with three children.
